What is PERM Tracker?
PERM Tracker is an independent tool for exploring U.S. immigration data across two stages of the employment-based green card process:
- PERM Analysis — search and analyze 320,000+ Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) cases published by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC). Filter by employer, occupation, state, or law firm; explore approval rates, wages, and processing times.
- Green Card Timeline — track estimated wait times for each stage of the employment-based green card process: Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD), I-140 petition, priority date backlog (Visa Bulletin), and I-485 adjustment of status, broken down by EB category and country of birth.
PERM Data Source
PERM case data comes from the OFLC Performance Data disclosure files published quarterly by the U.S. Department of Labor. These files are U.S. government works and are in the public domain.
Green Card Timeline Data Sources
Timeline data is collected automatically from official government sources on a daily schedule:
- PWD processing times — DOL FLAG system
- I-140 and I-485 processing times — USCIS Processing Times
- Visa Bulletin priority date cutoffs — U.S. Department of State Visa Bulletin
When a source is temporarily unavailable, the site falls back to the most recent known estimates. The Timeline page indicates the data freshness for each value.
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
The data on this site reflects information submitted by employers to OFLC during the PERM application process. PERM Tracker does not generate, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any data shown.
The DOL itself notes that data anomalies — including incomplete fields, typographical errors, and incorrect values — may result from employer data-entry errors at the time of application submission. Wage figures in particular are known to contain errors in the source data (e.g., wages submitted in the wrong unit or in cents instead of dollars). Where possible, PERM Tracker applies automated corrections to obvious outliers, but some errors may remain.
Do not rely on this data for legal, financial, or immigration decisions.
No Legal Advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, immigration advice, or professional guidance of any kind. For questions about a specific PERM case or the immigration process, consult a qualified immigration attorney or accredited representative.
No Government Affiliation
PERM Tracker is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of State, or any other government agency. Use of government data does not imply any such affiliation or endorsement.
